5 Skin care tips for acne free glowing skin
“First impressions are the best impressions” – This does hold true to a certain extent, especially when it comes to one’s external appearance; but if you were to ask me, I’d say your ‘inner glow’ would have a very important role to play here. I personally love glowing and healthy skin, and certainly want to keep my skin looking fabulous irrespective of age. In this post, ‘5 Skin care tips for acne free glowing skin’, my main aim is to provide skin care tips for radiant skin based on skin care advice I have received from family and friends who have been practicing beauty tips passed down from preceding generations.
Want acne free glowing skin? A consistent skin care routine and a disciplined lifestyle will ensure that your skin truly radiates from the inside out.
5 Skin care tips for acne free glowing skin
Skin Care Tip 1:
Exfoliation is the key to beautiful and radiant skin. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and boosts your blood circulation giving you a natural and youthful glow. Just ensure that you base your use of an exfoliant on research before using a product, and keep in mind that an expensive product does not necessarily translate to a good one. Also, in my opinion, an all natural herbal product would be far more beneficial than a chemical based one.
Skin Care Tip 2:
Periodically get a facial. A facial massage helps in improving your blood and lymphatic circulation, enhancing the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells, while removing toxins from your skin, leaving you relaxed and refreshed. Maintaining a good moisturizing regime is equally important, as it helps preserve moisture which in turn softens and soothes your skin, while protecting you from pollution and bacteria. In addition, protect your lips by using a good lip balm or a lipstick which is moisture based.
Skin Care Tip 3:
“Feed” your skin antioxidants for a glowing complexion. The benefits of antioxidant-rich foods cannot be over-stressed. Even though nutrients can be taken in the form of supplements, it’s important to comprehend that the body absorbs wholesome food better than supplements. Eat small portions of 3-5 servings of these vegetables and fruits every day.
For Vitamin A and Beta-carotene: Leafy green vegetables in one or two servings, and orange & yellow vegetables, are all good sources.
For Vitamin C: Choose at least one citrus fruit, such as a grapefruit or an orange. Tomatoes are good source of vitamin C as well.
For Vitamin E: Good sources of Vitamin E include nuts, seeds, and fish. Use olive oil in the place of butter when cooking.
In addition, drink green tea and tender coconut water during these summer months. Both re-hydrate your skin, leaving it supple with a beautiful glow.
Skin Care Tip 4:
Avoid constant sun exposure. Exposure to sun leads to early aging of your skin, leaving it dry and subsequently causing most of the wrinkles and age spots that you will gradually begin to notice on your face. Ensure that you use a mild sunscreen to protect yourself when you step outside, and if you happen to be outdoors for a longer duration, use one with a higher SPF.
Skin Care Tip 5:
Most importantly, sleep well. Having healthy sleep habits is often referred to as having good “sleep hygiene”. Ensure you get at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night, to allow you to get enough rest, while also letting Mother Nature repair your skin by the best beauty treatment there is!
These 5 skin care tips for acne free glowing skin will go a long way in ensuring that your skin stays healthy, glowing, soft and supple.

I would like to add a point as well. Using a heavy-weight moisturizer or thick makeup can fill your pores and cause you to definitely have an outbreak of cystic acne.
