Superdry Launches Its First Store In Bangalore
Superdry launches its first store in Bangalore!
Do you exemplify the spirit of destination style this season? Are you cut-out for varsity stripes paired with Hawaiian prints? Can you rock preppy nautical navy fused with brights and bold neons? Can you pull off cut-collar necklines in classic Oxford blues with a Bangalore swagger? If your answer to any of the above is a resounding “Yes!”, then get ready Bangaloreans as the über cool British fashion brand Superdry launches its first store in Bangalore at VR Bengaluru, Whitefield today!
Born from an inspirational trip to Tokyo, this distinctive urban outerwear and denim label fuses design influences from Japanese-inspired graphics and vintage Americana washes with the values of British tailoring; offering clothing with an iconic contemporary aesthetic that are worn by Hollywood and Bollywood A-listers alike. Their signature heavily logoed T-shirts, hooded jackets, and military parkas are created with a core philosophy of presenting future classics with original fits and incredible detailing at attractive prices.
What makes the difference between a nice outfit and a great outfit? It is not only the cut or the fabric quality; it’s the attention to finer details. This is what Superdry brings to this city by way of their flagship store ~ an artistic space congruent with the brand’s theme of industrial; with exposed brick walls and vintage oak-wood finishes, including steel framework and polished concrete floors ~ spread over 2,100 square feet that already houses their AW 2016 collection. On display are T-shirts, shorts, joggers, jeans, belted chinos, polo shirts, and rugby shirts along with must-have monogrammed reversible bombers that are a favourite with celebrities. For women; lace tops, shorts, skirts, hoodies, boho footwear, and bags will be in store. In short, Superdry’s collection allows you to carry a casual yet modish elegance! A separate section for swimwear and a category for sports-gear called ‘Superdry Sport’ are other signatures of this brand.
While Superdry has a distinct vintage thrift vibe; the brand could very well be described as a downtime uniform of unisex basics but with design ticks. Their colour-pop stitching, interesting silhouettes & autumnal palettes deliver a prevailing collection with heritage twists, punk flashes, and country-chic styles. The natural passion and love from Superdry Co-founders James Holder {Brand and Design Director}, and Julian Dunkerton {Product and Design Director}, ushers in a collection that delivers strength and a great look. With such a huge collection, I could go on writing, but I recommend you visit and see for yourself.
Where: VR Bengaluru Mall, Upper Ground Floor, Mahadevpura, Whitefield Road, next to Phoenix Marketcity.

Thank you so much, Tamanna. My heart is dancing with joy!
There’s been an aura of mystery, for those who don’t know much about the brand other than the large logos emblazoned across the chests of others. So, thank you for sharing!
On a side note: I love your posts, Tanya. They make for such a great read! ❤️
Thanks so much friend. I have a blast curating them!
The brand has married their love of incredible tailoring, high quality fabrics and vintage washes so beautifully! So excited that Superdry is now in Bengaluru!! ❤️ By the way, I absolutely adore the photos; they are giving me an idea as to what kind of party life you have over there, Tanya!

It’s amazing how you always seem to have the latest information, Tanya! Even on Twitter!
Well, I gravitate towards clothing that speaks to me… Which is what Superdry does via high-impact Japanese script. 🙂
Thank you for your kind appreciation, Deepika.
I just adore your blog, Tanya! And, this is clothing that’s designed for attitude not age!! ✨✨✨
Thank you, Deepa. Have a lovely day!
Pretty nice post. Hope you had a wonderful time at the launch!
I sure did. Thank you, Sagar!
Such an amazing opportunity! I love the outfits that SuperDry houses.
**Fun fact: the Japanese found on this clothing is often meaningless and inspired by the common Japanese practice of placing decorative English text on items to increase their fashionability and appeal. 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing, Aneela.
I am hooked on to your blog, Tanya! ❤️ And, a lightweight bomber over a Superdry logo tee and shorts is going to be my look this summer!!
Go for it, Vidhisha!
I think to every product, the story behind it is what adds to the quality and interest of it. Thank you for sharing. xx
I absolutely agree, Mona.

Thank you, Ameeta! I’m humbled by your love.
Great post, Tanya! ✨ Nearly everybody agrees that they feel comfortable wearing Superdry clothing, and that notion is supported by the heavy street presence the brand’s clothing has.
Thank you for this perspective, Umesh.
Absolutely love each look! Superdry clearly doesn’t follow trends; they never advertise but they openly admit to being inspired by the bright lights of Tokyo! I am inspired too!!
I’m delighted to hear this, Khushboo!
Absolutely stunning visuals, as per usual! By the way, it is clear that British apparel brand Superdry thinks the Japanese theme best portrays their product. 🙂
Thank you for that reflection, Pratiksha.
