Rejuve – An Exclusive Luxury Salon and Grooming Atelier
The most effective, and may I add, de-stressing regimen, as far as I am concerned, is to indulge in a soothing spa treatment. There is nothing that can compare with spending a few serene hours in luxurious comfort being pampered and losing yourself in blissful reverie. When it comes to choosing the place for such an indulgence, it’s difficult to look beyond Rejuve – an exclusive luxury salon and grooming atelier at the Lalit Ashok, Bangalore.
I recently spent an afternoon at Rejuve to experience some of their spa and salon services. You may access my Rejuve spa review here. In this article, I will be sharing my salon experience.
Rejuve Manicure & Pedicure
The best pedicure or manicure for that matter is a perfect blend of polished artistry, attentive care, and ideally, a relaxing environment.
The ambience at Rejuve Salon is well-maintained minimalism. My manicurist is a wonderful lady named Shashikala. The manicure commences with the usual nail cutting, shaping, and cuticle care. Following this, the top layer of my nails are buffed until they shine. Then Shashikala whips out Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Scrub, and that is when the real fun begins. Since I type constantly, my hands carry a lot of pain particularly in between my thumb and index finger. Shashikala gently massages this area with the scrub, and all of the stress melts away. After the scrub has been washed off, she gives me a gentle hand reflexology massage to assist in improving blood circulation by using a delightful Forest Essentials Almond Massage Oil with Mysore Sandalwood & Vetiver.
I really like the way Shashikala shaped my nails {perfect square with rounded corners}.
A Spa Pedicure is a procedure that cleans and removes dead skin cells from the feet and toenails. The pedicure is additionally accompanied by a foot massage that rejuvenates the skin as well as relaxes the muscles. But what really sets the Rejuve pedicure apart is the fact that it’s an extended service which includes an aromatic exfoliating scrub using Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Scrub and a hot towel wrap.
I decide on Lakmé Absolute Gel Stylist – Illuminate for my feet; a dazzling red, that even today {two weeks later}, is intact on my toenails looking like I just had the pedicure done. The pedicure leaves the bottom of my feet feeling smooth and soft, and my toenails look beautiful with Lakmé.
I head for my next treatment with nails smooth and polished {I might have mistaken them for top-grade marble!}. The therapeutic massage that wrapped up the procedure also took away the fatigue accumulated by my frequent wear of high heeled shoes.
Remember, every part of your body is Sacred. We rely on our feet for so much, yet we take them for granted. So, consider showing your feet some love this season.
To conclude: You can be certain the technicians at Rejuve are highly experienced and are there to provide you with a special experience; you should feel thoroughly pampered. They can offer you beautifully shaped nails; propose the perfect colour for your skin tone and the season. And, they follow the highest level of salon sanitation and customer service.
Rejuve Hair spa
Great hair frequently implies hair spas, that aim not only at enhancing the hair’s texture but also managing hair fall and improving the overall health of your hair.
The concept behind the Rejuve Hair Spa is to cleanse the scalp so that oxygen and the nutrients of the products used can reach deep into the hair follicles, repairing and rebuilding weak or damaged hair, restoring lost moisture and shine, as well as improving movement and texture.
The procedure commences with my therapist, Angela, examining my hair and scalp. After this is done, she proceeds to wash my hair using L’oreal Professionnel Liss Unlimited Shampoo. The nourishing ingredients in the mild shampoo leave my hair looking really healthy.
After this, she prepares a mask according to the length and thickness of my hair, divides my hair into sections, and very carefully applies L’Oreal Paris Deep Nourishing Cream Bath Hair Spa to each section, ensuring that the product does not touch my scalp. The hair mask applied serves as a deep conditioner with protein enhancement. It evidently also rectifies hair problems such as hair damage, hair loss, and so forth.
Angela then massages my scalp leaving me relaxed. The massaging ensures that the product is distributed evenly while enhancing blood circulation which boosts hair growth. The next step is a 10-minute steam. Steaming helps hair recover lost moisture. I would recommend that you ensure it is a mist-based steam for improved results. My hair is rinsed again using the same smoothing hair shampoo, after which my therapist uses a pump of L’Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Serum and applies it systematically along the length of my hair to shield it from the heat of the blow dryer.
Senior Hairstylist, Shrawan Kumar, blow-dries my hair allowing the product to seep in better. For those of you wondering why heat has been used… well, the heat works as an added measure for the hair strands to soak up all the goodness of this hair ritual. And, this is by far the best blowout I have ever had! Thank you, Shrawan!
This is the breakdown of my 45-minute long hair spa treatment:
1. Scalp Cleansing
2. Massage
3. Mask & Steam
4. Shampooing and Styling
My session ends with a pot of the spa’s signature Rejuve green tea, served with honey.
To conclude: Rejuve, the exclusive luxury salon and grooming atelier for women and men, exemplifies the ambience of a luxury salon offering the ideal blend of hairstyling and beauty treatments that surpass mere indulgence!
Address: The Lalit Ashok, Kumara Krupa High Grounds, Kumara Park, Bangalore.
