Ferragamo Unveils Jewellery Line by Daniela Villegas
Salvatore Ferragamo is channelling its founder’s love of nature and travel, with the launch of an exclusive capsule collection, designed in partnership with Mexico-born and LA-based jeweller, Daniela Villegas, who is bringing her fauna-inspired aesthetic to the Florence-based design house.

The eight-piece whimsical collection is inspired by birds and wildlife as showcased on iconic, Italian-made silk scarves, and ‘Ars’ shoes ~ originally designed by Mr. Ferragamo in the ‘50s ~ to create an exclusive collection that includes: necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets. Ferragamo Unveils Jewellery Line by Daniela Villegas: Ferragamo’s jewellery capsule, handcrafted by master Italian goldsmiths, uses an amalgamation of sterling silver, gemstones ~ green Topaz and blue-violet Amethyst ~ gold, and diamonds, to showcase the Italian spirit, as well the hallmarks of Ferragamo. To provide a deeper perspective, Ferragamo’s signature Gancio emblem is seen on pieces with the birdcage motif. Likewise, the parakeets/parrots/birds of paradise symbolise abundance and exploration through a sense of mischief and spunk!

It’s nice to read this post ~ I love wearing delicate jewellery with bird motifs because to me the bird is a symbol of freedom. They soar high into the sky. They’re a symbol of eternal life.
