Farmers’ Market by Karen Anand
Food critic and celebrity chef, Karen Anand, brings to our fine city the premium Farmers’ Market.
Farmers’ Market by Karen Anand in Bengaluru is the spearheading initiative of the celebrity food guru and her team of steadfast and dedicated professionals. For the fourth year, they bring to Bangalore their open-air lifestyle and whole foods market, with boutique produce, ingredients, and food.
A haven for those who care about the quality and provenience of the food they eat, the farmers’ market is open to everybody from restaurateurs, culinary specialists, enthusiastic novice cooks, as well as individuals who simply happen to love eating. 🙂
“I want to believe that it has gotten to be {is evolving into} ~ an innovative, novel and quality food experience,” expressed Karen. “With a curated eatery experience & a place to discover, to ask questions, to explore new flavours; the mission is that our Farmers’ Market has to be a feasible and sustainable, self-regulating, quality food and lifestyle market. At each market, we have more than 5,000 visitors ~ restaurateurs, chefs, gourmet food enthusiasts, and people who are spirited about what they drink and eat,” she concluded.
To add to all the fervour, Karen has recently included some enjoyable features such as pop-up eateries highlighting an assortment of regional cuisines and interesting cocktails, Master Chef demo theatres, a children’s cookery workshop, treasure hunts, and live music.

Fresh, organic produce has a charm of it’s own. Right from the smell, the taste and the texture; it simply radiates ‘the season of spring’. And now, I wish it was spring here!
Happy to have your warm appreciation, Naveena.
In the age of home gourmet, culinary adventures and a return to natural foods, this seems like a lifestyle market which is a source of exceptional Indian and International produce… 🙂
It promises to be, Navya.
I am always happy to explore curated culinary experiences, Tanya. 🙂 Also, I love these kind of topics on your blog mixed in with great imagery, of course!
There’s so much in store this time, Priya.
Many heartfelt thanks!
Karen Anand’s love for all things fresh, all things food and all things that are good, has transcended to the market… which means ~ plenty of tasty treats for me to cherish and bring home. 🙂
Her penchant for finding unique products and producers from all over India will make it worth the visit, Geetha.
Every post is picture perfect, love it! By the way, I expect a gourmet shopping experience like no other at this market!
You can peacefully browse through the market and shop till you drop, Archana!
You have a real eye for detail and this post really shows that, Tanya.
Thank you, Renuka! You’re always kind and affectionate.
Who would have thought of a farmer’s market happening in a mall. But such are the times we live in. 🙂 Not complaining… given the free tastings, plus freebies {who doesn’t like freebies?} to take back home.
Right?! 🙂
I’m thinking natural products, local restaurants serving up farm-to-fork style, and a plethora of home bakers ~ see you there! 🙂
See you there with your baskets, Mushtaq.
Unless one has been living under a rock, you’ll know that organic is in, and hopefully it’ll stay that way for a long while. So, I can see why you’re so excited! 🙂
Thank you for your sweet thoughts, Bablu.
Wonderful visuals, Tanya. Since I’m already on the health brigade ~ organic tea, handmade soaps, and wellness products sound right up my alley! Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome, Simranjit. Loving your appreciation!
I’d love me some gourmet food, beverages & mindfully sourced lifestyle products from brands across the country… 🙂
…not to forget the fabulous chefs who will be teaching you the tips and tricks of the trade. 🙂
I have come across such markets and tasting festivals abroad, but it’s great to see a similar initiative in Bengaluru!
All in all a fun weekend awaits you!
