The Zanyah™  Collection: A stunning collection of Heirlooms for Urban Royalty

I was recently approached by Kyra Campbell at Forevermark Diamonds to review their new collaboration with India’s most beloved Bridal Couturier, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The Zanyah Collection is inspired by the magical nights of the 1920s and the Italian Renaissance movement, embracing Indian craftsmanship to its best.

Designer Extraordinaire, Sabyasachi Mukherjee who states that this collection is “true to his personal sense of style, which is more classical and minimalist,” wanted to create beautiful jewellery that people could be proud of globally; jewellery that told a story of art, culture, history and time that has gone by. With each piece being influenced by fashion and art from the inspiring twenties and the cultural movement from the Italian Renaissance; the collection comprises a delicate range of earrings and vintage rings for women and men in yellow, white, and rose gold.

When talking about the collaboration, Sabyasachiji tells me, “It is the inherent integrity of every Forevermark diamond that attracted me most to the brand.” Each diamond is responsibly sourced and goes beyond the 4cs that we take for granted. It was essential to Sabyasachji to create pieces that were unique and captured a glimpse of his design philosophy. Each piece embodies delicate craftsmanship, creativity and modernity weaved with the finest diamonds in the world. Sabyasachji continues, “I wanted to create something so beautiful and timeless that the periphery becomes as important as the diamond.” It’s fair to say that the designer has yet again created a collection that will capture our hearts and inspire the fashion community once again.

Here are a few special pieces from the Sabyasachi x Forevermark collection which launches in June 2017 in selected Forevermark Stores across India.

Short Drop Diamond Earrings with Black enamel: These elegant long drop earrings are crafted in white gold using traditional Indian enamelling on the drop resulting in a design that is effortlessly elegant and perfect for the modern Indian bride. The earrings in the Zanyah collection represent the romance and passion of the 1920s {Sabyasachi’s favourite era} through the use of enamelling to introduce colour to the pieces with sparkling pavé diamond decorations.

Vintage-Style Cocktail Ring in Rose Gold: The rings in the Zanyah collection is inspired by the 15th-century Italian renaissance movement and are crafted using one to ten-carat diamonds; where each ring exemplifies vintage artistry in a contemporary way.
