Kingfisher Ultra Soul Flyp Pre-Derby Party

Marking the onset of the season’s most sought after racing event, ‘The Kingfisher Ultra Derby 2016’ kicked into high gear with an enthralling Kingfisher Pre-Derby Party held at the Taj West End, Bangalore on July 8, 2016. The event saw the crème de la crème of our city assemble to discuss everything equestrian. Kingfisher Ultra Soul Flyp, “The Emperor of Good Times” ensured the party spirits seeped to an all time high with an evening filled with unbridled revelry.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prashant Patwardhan, General Manager, Marketing, United Breweries Limited said, “The Kingfisher Ultra Derby is one of the city’s most regal and charming events as it embodies a perfect amalgamation of thrill, style and glamour. We are immensely delighted to have Kingfisher Ultra Soul Flyp, the choice of the discerning few, be associated with the Derby this year, and we only hope to enrich this association in the future. We look forward to having a great time at the Kingfisher Ultra Derby with Bangalore’s equestrian and fashion enthusiasts!”

Performances by renowned singer Bharat Krishnan, aka Barry got the crowd swaying with his blend of pop and rock n roll, and BLOT, India’s leading audiovisual act ensured that guests got to experience something novel, which is Kingfisher’s signature style of bringing innovation to keep the party mood going.

Speaking about his new line, fashion designer Swapnil Shinde said, “This season I’m showcasing two distinctive styles; the first is dreamy and ethereal with lace and chiffon. The second is a very special line that I had earlier showcased at the New York Fashion Week for Project Runway; it’s more edgy, modern and futuristic, so there’s a lot of PVC and leather.”

All roads will lead to the Bangalore Turf Club this Sunday, July 10th, as the city’s glitterati make their way to the Kingfisher Ultra Derby 2016 – an event that is marked well in advance by race enthusiasts and socialites alike.
