  • Omg, this looks amazing! Saved for later.

On a side note: The simple truth is that we are living in a sea of toxins and it is destroying our bodies and brain. Since detoxing takes some of the workload off your organs, they can then do a better job of protecting your body…

  • Mmmm… Definitely agree with the benefits, and this recipe is super inspiring for me to write a poem about it!! 😀

Just so you know, according to Ayurveda, the change of seasons (spring and autumn) is a great time to rid the body of toxins.

  • Simple, delicious, healthy and refreshing! It’s spring season and that means it’s time to give our bodies a little pampering with a super healthy yet delicious detox smoothie!

  • Woooow, your recipe looks absolutely adorable. I love the refreshing green colour!

And, that’s a mighty fine message! Green smoothies are packed with fibre, plus, it’s a tasty way to get a strong dose of fruits and veggies, which provide vital nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, folate and potassium.

  • Ahh – this is gorgeous ❤️ definitely could always use some more green love!

Dark leafy greens are always my go-to when it comes to smoothies:
    *Kale
    *Amaranth Greens
    *Dandelion greens
    *Collard greens
    *Swiss chard
    *Parsley
    *Mint
    *Green bell peppers

…And then on the fruit side:
    *Avocados
    *Pears
    *Green apples
    *Seeded Grapes

Of course, you can always add in hemp seeds, chia, flax, cinnamon, nut butter. 🙂

  • Oh, this smoothie looks so delicious!! ✨ No doubt this will be best on an empty stomach 30 min before breakfast. For refreshing, hydrating, alkalizing and hydration … and for gut healing. Have a great day, Tanya!

  • I love a good green protein smoothie for breakfast, and this is one of my all-time fave green recipes as it’s super quick and easy!

Thank you for sparing your time and sharing this, Tanya. ❤️

  • Healthy and beautiful! ✨✨✨

To add to your post, I would say that if you want your kids to eat more veggies, smoothies are the best way! Veggies to add, for example, spinach, beetroot, kale, carrot, sweet potato, zucchini… Let your imagination be the limit!

  • Oh my goodness, what beautiful images! ❤️ Love the colour contrasts, and that smoothie looks so fresh and juicy! Wishing you a great start to the week, Tanya!
